The marble fireplace was gone even before we arrived to carry out our first site visit but it's outline can be seen on the wall.

The first stage of the new fireplace construction is now finished and the builder hands over to us. The opening has been enlarged and the new surround is complete up to the finished height of the cassette fire.

We fit the firebox with solid flue pipes wrapped with ceramic blanket insulation connecting the stove to the new chimney liner. The top of the chimney is also finished and the chimney pot and guard fitted. We now hand back to the builder to complete the fireplace and hearth.

All done and we're back to complete building the stove before lighting up and testing the fire and handing over to our clients. Only the decorating left now!
